All Shall Be Well

This set of miniatures was commissioned by an incredible leader of choral music in Regional Victoria (and my mother!) Lyndell Allen, as part of VOX Collective's first project 'FEMME'. This choir, made up of women and non-binary people from the broader Ballarat area, provided an opportunity for treble singers to perform SSAA repertoire at a high level as adults.

'All Shall Be Well' uses the writings of English theologian Julian of Norwich, whose book 'Revelations of Divine Love' is the oldest in English literature to be completed by a woman. This seemed incredibly fitting for a first-time performance of an all female/gender-nonconforming group, and I am so grateful to Lyndell and VOX for being invited to participate in this amazing project in my home town!
